Since Chatot is obviously based on parrots, I started thinking back to the tropics in South America. Then I thought of how lively and fun it would probably be as a human. In the end, I went with a Brazilian girl all dressed up and ready to sing and dance at Carnival Chatot has also always struck me as rather clownish, so I made the outfit more big, silly and less skimpy like a circus clown.

The only thing that threw me off guard was the metronome tail, but to me it has always looked like a microphone. And I doubt a Chatot gijinka would pass up the opportunity to show off her voice...
